You need to go to the site just to see the church and setting. This is a big church with a small church feel. The setting is in Pennsylvania farm country. Presently at harvest time, It is literally surrounded by corn fields. I don't know the exact size but it will seat a min of 1000, it was at least 2/3 capacity, with all the children and youth outback in a ceremony from some other activity.
We were blessed by the singing and message. This church is near the small town of Stevens and the rest farm land. Not that I actually care, but the praise team was ladies, all wearing conservative dresses. You could tell this was a farm community, most women attended wearing dresses. Most of the men were in suits or neat sports wear.There was the normal scattering of ink, T's and jeans.
It was obviously Pentecostal, with a message and interpretation. I didn't know one song, but was able to join in a little, without getting an elbow from my wife for being on the wrong line!. Pennsylvania is north to me, but this seemed like the southern church I was raised in. I had to smile and enjoy it.
I would recommend the church if you are ever in the Lancaster area on vacation or business. It is 21 miles north.
We will be gone, but next Sunday Nick Cassidy (friend of Nick Parks) will be speaking, sorry I will miss it. (Probably a lot of Nicks in Ireland,   )
