Redemption Point Church in Ooltewah |

How is this church doing since Kevin Wallace left the CoG? Have they found a pastor or is the A.B. still serving as interim? Has Kevin Wallace begun another work in Ooltewah? |

What I've heard is nearly everyone went to Highland Park with Kevin, only about 200-250 left at Ooltewah.
They are having one service at 10:30 on Sunday and something for the youth on Wednesday night. Mitch Corder is the speaker on Sunday morning.
Someone else may know more about it than this. |

200-250 is a good size congregation. Once they get a really good pastor planted in that church, you will see it turn around. |

Perhaps these are some unsaved folk in the Ooltewah area that can be reached by the new pastor.
It should not be a zero sum game. _________________ Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because its the best thing going today! |

200-250 is absolutely a good size congregation, regardless. Also, there were not 2000 people before at Ooltewah. It was closer to 800 at Ooltewah. This is a big, big opportunity for someone at RPC Ooltewah! |

Ya think Bishop Corder would let the ole timer go to Ooltewah? Hey, I can do a belt jerk good as ole Kev. I can emulate Rockin Rod as good as Kev? Hey, I can even use all the Rod-Speak, like, "Turn to ya neighbor and give em a high five fer Jesus," or "Tell the Devil You Bout to Raze Hell," or "Can't Git No Help Up In Here."
I know how to use some a them catchy sermon titles too, like:
Get Outta the Boat an Float
Takin Back What Slewfoot Stole
When the Devil Starts Messin, God Starts Blessin
The Devils in the Phone Booth Dialin 911
Yall think the ole timer would have a shot at it? |

I understand that four of the Cleveland churches are alternating sending a group to Ooltewah each Sunday. Not sure how many. Anyone else have info on this? _________________ We always reap what we sow. Remember...the quality of your future is decided by the choices you make today. |

I heard that E. Chattanooga is combining with Redemption Point, the E. Chatt pastor will be the new RP pastor. Some are happy and some are sad, we will see how it all works out. |
