In my experience, men and women both possess the capacity to be dishonest. Hard to say who would be the most convincing of the two.

I think the male tells more 'stories'. That is what my mama preferred to lies!
but in my experience women are more convincing because I want to believe them.

The above is NOT from church experience but in the business world.

Now that has been said, I am married to a woman who would not lie, misrepresent, nor mislead, not even 'shade' the truth to save her own life.I could not say that complete sentence about myownself. Embarassed

Ananias & Sofira (sp lol) are in the same boat - I feel they are about equal - I have been taken in by both from time to time. I personally believe women more than I do men and have no reason for doing that. Just do. But I don't let anyone know that I doubt them unless I just have to.
