Manchin says he will vote to confirm Kavanaugh. That makes 51 Republicans plus 1 Democrat for 52. I predict Collins and Flake the FAKE conservative (though some on here think he is just great) will vote no. That makes it a 50-50 tie, which Pence will break. If even one more Democrat defects, confirmation is assured.

Initial procedural floor vote isn't until Sat. Manchin clarified he is not decided.

No way it goes 50-50. R's vote as a bloc and a couple red state D's come along, or the R bloc fails to hold and the D's are unanimously no. 52, 53, 49 are most likely yea counts IMO, in decreasing order of likelihood.

Pence will vote "YES". I'd be shock if he did not!

I have once been accused and investigated in a similar case. I was throughly investigated and was proven innocent of any charges. It was by an ex DIL who is a drunk liar. She tried to destroy my ministry. I fully understand BK's in his response yesterday! Thank God no one believed my accuser, but that situation puts a target on your back for life. Until you have been there as a man, you just don't know!

Now I make sure I am NEVER alone with the opposite sex, be they 8 months or 100 years old. Do not hug necks with any female except my wife, and Mom. Never council with female alone. If they don't like my wife with me, then go somewhere else to get help!

the Republicans already have 50 votes. This will allow him to look good the the party and with the WV voters. That is the deal he has worked out with the party.

Sometimes I don't like myself because I cannot stick with my own logic. I tell my wife, I do pray that the right will prevail, and I can't make a 'flips' difference. And at that level I cannot
