Blood moons and such |

I haven't paid any real attention to all of the hoopla. Was something supposed to happen during the blood moon or was it a sign of something that could happen later this week? Somebody explain what I am supposed to be looking for. In the mean time, I'm living life. I guess if Jesus comes or some other event happens, it didn't matter if I was looking for it or not. |

Eddie, the blood moon hoopla was a crock of baloney, but I think the time frame set was rather general--like within the year or so.
But here is what you should look for:
Titus 2:13,14
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. |

I saw Hagee said the real events will take place in 2017 - based on something.
Think there is a new book coming out.
Not sure why he didn't tell us that two years ago...oh well. _________________ Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because its the best thing going today! |

Someone should ask him if he's certain the rapture won't take place before 2017. |

I'm out here with you. Completely in the dark about Blood moons.
I think we (Christians) somehow forget the simple message, 'Christ Jesus and Him crucified and Raised from the DEAD!' _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

I guess I just missed it, but I was really surprised to read to today that people thought the blood moons were a prediction of the rapture. I've read some on this and I watched some stuff online, but not once did I have the understanding that the day/time of the rapture was what they were talking about as being expected. Interesting how folks interpret things! _________________ "More of Him...less of me."

It is so interesting that one of the last things Jesus said before he left the earth was "It's not for you to know the times or the seasons which the Father has set by his own authority." He said this in response to the disciples' question about when Jesus was going to restore the Kingdom on the earth? (i.e., end time events) Instead he told them what their focus should be -- being his witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:6-8).
This kind of stuff sells a lot of books, CD's, and DVD's and draws big crowds, but it does such a disservice to the mission of Jesus. It sounds more like some kind of "Christian astrology" than Biblical Christianity.
