If I preach on certain topics in English, I quote a lot of verses when I preach. Should I have people stand up whenever I quote a verse, then sit down. That might interrupt the flow.

Do what you want to do. If you handle the ministry God gave you according to what you think He wants you to do then you will be just fine.

Thanks. I don't think there needs to be a legalistic rule that everyone must stand when the Bible is being read. The Old Testament teaches parents to teach their children the word when the children are sitting as well.
