There are certain speakers who travel from place to place speaking in churches. I wonder how they get into that niche.
I gather that in the COG, preachers who want to preach in pulpits meet at a lot of people at the GA. Of course, one pastor can be invited to speak at another's pulpit.
There are denominational officials that get invited to speak here and there.
I wonder how people who travel a lot preaching at churches get the ball rolling before they get popular. Do they send out fliers? Are most of the ones who do this famous for writing a book or teaching something niche. (Back in the day, eschatology was one of the topics.)
Do any of you have experience with this? I would like to hear your experiences. |
