Ten Commandments in front of court house |
Link |
I think they allow the 10 commandments in front of court houses based on the fact that they contributed to western and American law. It does not make sense to put statues of Satan in front of courthouses because Satanism has not contributed positively toward our legal system. I would imagine courts would allow the Hammurabi code to be displayed in front of a courthouse. It is tradition to have Lady Justice statues as well.
But which is better, for there to be no 10 commandments in front of a courthouse, but they take down the statue of Lady Justice, the detestable false goddess of the Romans, or to keep them both up? _________________ Link |

You make a great point. It is not the freedom of religion people are after. It is the freedom from judeo-christian values. Sad.... but on the flip side I don’t ever want a Koran or sharia law ever placed in front of our courts.... _________________ Tis so Sweet to Moonwalk with JESUS. 😎🌔🌔👟👞👟👞 |

True, but the fact is: The Koran or sharia law Were not aboard in 1776. And as far as I have read neither paid for our country in deed or sacrifice!, Just sayin'! _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

Speaking of displaying the "Big 10" |

Speaking of displaying the 10 Commandments, this is a picture of Ten Commandment Mountain at Fields of the Wood, in Murphy, NC. This picture was taken from about where the cabin would have stood which was where the Holiness Church at Camp Creek met. Down the road from Fields of the Wood is the First Assembly House and the Shearer School House.
