I am just putting this out here since most big corporations tell you NOT to submit ideas...and that if you do, it's their property to do with as they wish. But just in case this is not already out there, and just in case someone knows someone who knows someone....
When I type on my iPad keyboard or text on my Android phone, I don't like having to shift back and forth between screens for various punctuation marks or symbols. It came to me that there are only a handful of punctuation marks/symbols that I use regularly (typically the apostrophe, quotation marks, and such).
So...why not have a couple or three buttons on the main keyboard screen to which the owner can ASSIGN the punctuation/symbols of his/her choice?
No big deal. Surely it's already out there, but if it is, I don't see it (although I have heard of function keys being similarly assignable). |
