Being sifted isn't defeat. Your faith failing is. Faith is the fight.

And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” Luke 22:31,32

Faith rests when the boat is covered with waves.
Faith is the victory over any storm.

And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. Mark 8:24

Even death doesn't win if you are "persuaded" of the love of God in Christ.

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom. 8:37-39

Victory is you standing in faith in the middle of it all.

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 1 Jn 5:4

Never doubt His love for you.
