Head Pusher!

Head pushing preachers need catchers, especially if people behind the one having hands laid on him put their hands on his lower back which serves as a fulcrum. He's got his hands in the air, setting him off balance, a fulcrum on his lower back, pressure on his head, and BAM-- he falls. That guy needs a catcher.

I think we ought to start a new Charismatic and Pentecostal tradition. Whenever a preacher or anyone else puts undue pressure on your forehead, you point at him and loudly yell 'Head pusher!"

That could stop the practice right there.

How can we spread this idea? I could submit an article to Charisma. Do you think they'd publish it?

i DON'T KNOW ABOUT THAT, but I have wondered for years (because I am a logical person, and skeptical) Is anything about this of God? I mean the power of suggestion in SOME places is amazing. Swinging a coat and folks falling out like a wave. I mean I cannot believe we have anyone around today who could carry Paul's books, and he was never a SHOW OFF! This stuff is a show. When the Lord and the Apostles said in the name of Jesus Things really happened, the cripple walked, the dumb talked, the blind saw, the dead was even raised. Thousands were fed and money came from a fishes mouth.
No I do not believe the man at the gate had any faith, except he might receive some money, Peter said, "Arise and walk and he did".

Anyway, God's power is really weak, if all he does is lay people out. I snuck out of church once during a revival and accidentally sprayed battery acid in my eyes I was blind. One of the LWWB workers who was preparing food in the parsonage for after church ran and interrupted the evangelist, he and dad came out and prayed for me took me in and sat me on the front row and the evangelist continued his sermon. My sight returned. No one was pushed, knocked or shoved down in any revivals of my youth.
I saw my sister's broken arm healed.
Enough. I think what you say here should somehow be done. We have gone crazy over shows.

Of course I am just an ignorant old man. But I do know somethings, I wasn't born this old. Wink
