My wife and I both make contributions to our respective pension plans. Mine is through the Benefits Board and hers is through the plan her employer offers.
I have always paid our tithes on our gross incomes. However, I have begun to question if I should be tithing now on the amount we contribute to our pension plans because we will pay tithes on the retirement income we draw from those plans. We would in effect be tithing that money twice - once now and then again later.
Any thoughts? _________________ Socialism is a great idea until you run out of other people's money. |
