What does Paul mean when he wrote: |
Mark Ledbetter |
Quote: | There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one Hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. - Ephesians 4:4 |

Paul talks about unity in the verse prior to verse 4, so I would think Paul is talking about one body of believers, one Holy Spirit, which unites us all. We are all baptized into Christ. There is one God.
That's just my take without having read commentaries or studies. |

no one disagrees with your thoughts; or don't dare to elaborate upon the passage. _________________ God-Honoring

Mark,
I'm not sure what is unclear about the verse you have asked us about. Maybe you could ask a more specific question? |
