Look, we have a lot of long-termers here. Some of us can get more passionate about a matter than it behooves us to be. We need solid, experienced men who bring additional balance.

You sound to me like you fit the bill.

Please don't go because of a somewhat rare controversy. Most of our discussions--even when we disagree--are calm, even playful. Many of the big controversies were "settled" on this site long ago--even if that meant just agreeing to disagree.

But more will come up, and we need a cool voice to add to the mix. Be that person. Please.

Too many that have a solid voice in the midst of storms that arise here are leaving or not posting as often as they had in the past.

We preach to our people to weather the storm by trusting in Jesus. This is still a good site, it just needs more water walkers than pallbearers.
