That woman (and her husband, Randy) have had a definite touch on their singing, preaching, and ministry.

The movie was a distortion of her life.

However, she was controversial. I got to spend a brief amount of time with a minister who knew her personally and worked with her. Were there scandals, yeah, sounds like it. She was a fireball and her own worst enemy at times. She was married multiple times.

Texas has a great history of powerful lady preachers and church planters and some really good active ones now. We have some great women ministering in our local church right outside of Fort Worth.

Too numerous to go on. Without pentecostal women, (missionaries, evangelists, pastors and lay women and pastors wives) there would be no Pentecostal movement today. We owe them more than time can tell.
