1. It's free - Now this sounds simple enough, but we often don't believe this and don't preach this. Preach that there's a price to pay for "the anointing" and for "blessing". But the scripture clearly teaches that He "freely gives us all things" (Rom. 8:32) and that we are blessing with every spiritual blessing in Heavenly places (Eph. 1:3). Jesus paid the price. Our part is to believe this message, this Good News, this incorruptible seed.
2. It's finished - Sin has been put away. Reconciliation is complete. We've been crucified, buried, raised and seated with Christ. There is no part of redemption that was not completed at the cross. He sits at rest. The remaining part is spreading this message so people can hear, believe, receive and be born again of this incorruptible seed, this Word.
3. It's Christ centered - This also sounds straight-forward enough, but when 90 percent of our message is sin-focused, problem-focused, world-focused, man-focused, project-focused, issue-focused, self-help, politics-focused, etc., we aren't really preaching Christ and Him crucified, the gospel!
4. It's a NOW message - His kingdom is here now. His Kingdom is within us. We are bring His kingdom from Heaven to Earth. Our faith is a NOW faith. We are seated with Christ now. We are blessed now. We are alive now. We are joined to Christ now. We bearing fruit with Him now. We are the new creation, the new man, the new wineskins now. Yes, the Kingdom is expanding and growing like a mustard seed, like leaven hidden in dough. Yes, it's ongoing as He builds His church and as the increase of His government and peace continue, but it is here.
