Post Sister Judy Isaacs Cojak
Our pastor requested prayer for sister Isaacs tonight. She is VERY SICK, only a miracle.............

Judy is the wife of Y.Z. Isaacs a retired NC pastor. He pastored the New Hope Church of God, Gaston County, NC for many years. They were loved. They were good friends, my company framed their retirement home.

Please keep the Isaacs family in your prayers...

Sis Isaacs was the registrar at ECBC when we were there, many years ago. Her office was one of the first you came to as you came in the side door near the cafeteria. She was always smiling & willing to help. She comforted and encouraged many a college student who was homesick, discouraged, broke, or wondering if they were really called to ministry or not. She touched countless lives there and through her children's ministry and her ministry as a pastor's wife.

Please continue to pray for Bill, Lynn & Brother Isaacs and all of her extended family.

Nothing has been officially posted on Facebook yet. But since Cojak lives in that area, he may have info we haven't heard.

I haven't heard anymore, and the local paper so far has posted no obit either.

I enjoy life, and knowing the Isaacs' has continually blessed my life. It is sweet to have known someone you know is truly your sister or brother. We are having torrential rains and flooding in this area. Some of this may factor in plans.

Prayers continue for the family!

Bill Isaacs posted on FB tonight that his mom went to be with the Lord around 10:46pm tonight.

This world is a poorer place, but heaven is richer! And oh, what a glad reunion day!

Thoughts & prayers for Bill & his family. I always say, "Nobody loves you like Mama!"

True and Bill was a good kid also.

I never will forget what my BIL said at his wife's passing:"You might think I am not much of a Christian. I know she is with Jesus, but I still want her back!"

I have lost a mother and I still miss her after all these years!

Thanks again Carolyn. I haven't seen this. Probably in the local paper in the AM. How fitting the service be at the New Hope COG. They were long tme pastors there and the last church before retirement.

I smile because I thought I was much older than she. I am only about a year older. They got married young also, my wife and I have been married 61+ years also. I know Y.Z. will be LOST without Judy. We are still remembering them in prayer.

Amazing the older Children's ministers are heading home, more and more!

I was delayed today at the last minute with a serious personal incident concerning my sister who is in my care at present. So I missed the receiving and had to text our ride lthat we would not make it.
I had to smile big as I rushed to clear the runway and made it just after receiving. I spotted a friend of mine who has been very sick as he was leaving unable to stay for the memorial service. We spoke and I rushed into the church.
The usher told me there was only one seat left and it was in the choir. I really wanted to take the seat, but did not want to march down front and be ushered in the choir. EVERYONE KNOWS I CANNOT SING and besides I knew the choir director and had performed his wedding ceremony, he really knows I cannot sing.
I started to offer to stand in as an usher, since my wife and I had organized the New Hope Church. LOL

Since Bro Hill was mentioned on another thread here I just wanted to say he took time to attend sister Judy's memorial service. I was proud of him and I know the family and local church was also.

I appreciate a man like that! Cool
