What cities in the U.S. have the strongest COG presence? |

I haven’t been on here in a long time. I dropped in this afternoon and read a post about a region where the COG is in decline. That post made me think about this question: What cities or areas have the strongest COG presence (Other than Cleveland, TN)?
I have some observations, but I would like to read some responses first. |

I think you have to consider metro Atlanta and metro Charlotte. |

My first thought was Jesup, Ga. _________________ Eddie Wiggins |

If you consider the top 50 churches that have been listed on here before, it is pretty easy to determine that it would be:
Atlanta, GA (By far the top COG membership in one city. Think Mt Paran)
Charlotte, NC (Central pushes this one way up)
Mobile, AL (Destination, Pathway, and Oak Park alone are 3 of the top 4 largest churches in attendance in Alabama)
Chattanooga, TN (An extension of the Cleveland impact) |

I would hve to guess that using percentages, the most towns influenced by the COG would be the country churches near or in small towns.
But Imma thinking you would be hard pressed to find any city with enough COG influence to 'sway a city' as compared to the Baptist or CAtholic. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!
