Problems with siblings |
Resident Skeptic |
Sadly, the decent relationship I have had my entire life with a sibling is falling apart. How many here have had sibling issues and how did you resolve them? _________________ "It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves UPCI

I'm not much help, I always had a good relationship with my siblings, however I knew there was a hidden problem between my older brothers. I never found out what the problem was, but they never solved it.
I was not directly involved because I had a great relationship with them both. They both died and at the end of the last one's life I did ask and got no specific answer.
It is sad for the ones directly involved and the ones on the side lines. I hope you guys can work it out. All I can say is the same you would say to me, Prayer and love is the only thing I can think of.
I pray the Lord helps work it out, because it is a sad thing. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

Problems, are you kidding there were 6 of us and we never had a cross word.
If you believe that I have some ocean front property in Tennessee, near Cleveland I will sell you.
Actually we got along pretty good for the most part. We had our times but we worked them out.
My younger brother got angry at me once and did not speak for about a year. He had gone through a divorce and became very bitter. One day he came to me and said; can we let by gone's be by gone's I said absolutely. He died a few years later. Sure glad we worked it out.
BTW, he came back to the Lord in August 2001 and died unexpectantly in Sept 2001. That's grace with a capital "G". _________________ Recorded Sermons @ www.pastorwiley.com

I would love for my issues with my older brother to be resolved, but I can't hold my breath waiting. Everything we were raised to be and believe, he now denies. He is an enemy of Christ, a Unitarian Universalist minister, who denies the Deity of Christ and the exclusivity of salvation in the name of the Jesus he once worshipped and followed with all his heart, a thoroughly committed socialist who thinks Obama was too conservative, who accuses me of being a homophobe because I stand with the Bible against perversion, and says I want people to go to Hell because I stand with the Bible against his universalism. As a youngster and a teenager, he was one of the most on-fire Christians you could know, and always said he was called to be a pastor. Then he attended West Coast Bible College, and somehow came away a total liberal. I know not everyone at WCBC was a liberal, but apparently there was enough liberalism there to start him down the road to becoming the total libtard that he is today. |
