'biologically opposite gender couples' |
Link |
I know a guy serving on a committee to write up a church's minutes to specify that only opposite gender couples can marry. He suggested putting 'biologically opposite gender', since the same folks who have redefined the word 'marriage' would like to redefine 'gender' to mean whatever you feel like your gender is. _________________ Link |

What if you have a biological male transgender person who believe he is a woman that wants to marry a biological female transgender person who believes she is a man? |

I posted a thread asking that question recently. _________________ Link |

That's not UMC decision at the top level yet. I just wonder why denominations like this don't discipline the people in the committees that promote this kind of stuff and expel them from the denomination. Paul delivered men who taught that the resurrection had already occurred over to Satan and told Timothy that a vessel of honor was to purge itself from vessels of dishonor. Churches in Revelation got in trouble for tolerating those who taught people to fornicate and to eat meat offered to idols.
The UMC could have a police that requires those on committees who promote sexual immorality to face some sort of church trial for doing so, with the possibility of being expelled.
If the UMC does fall to this wickedness, I wonder where the God-fearing will go to, independent churches? smaller Methodist churches? _________________ Link |
