Preachers, Would you rather conduct a Wedding or a Funeral?

Here's what I'm really askin. Take out the fact that a weddin is a time a celebration an gladness an at a funeral is typically grief an sadness. In terms of pressure, expectations, and general comfort level, do you feel more comfortable doing a wedding or a funeral? Do you feel you have more of a chance to minister to people at a wedding or a funeral. Do you feel your role as a pastor is more effective conducting a wedding or a funeral?

Not that I want anybody to die, but...I always enjoy doing funerals far more than weddings.

Glad I'm not the only one. I much rather conduct a funeral than a wedding.

Usually I would rather do a funeral because they usually provide more opportunities to minister at that time and afterwards. The exception would be marrying two Godly people who trusted God for a mate versus a death where the family is troubled about the spiritual standing of the deceased.

I just got back from a funeral. I posted a thread on Roman Catholic funerals.

Would you rather perform a gay wedding or a funeral for a someone who'd lived a homosexual lifestyle?
