Leave room for the vengeance of God!
"Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. “But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Rom. 12:17-21
He never repays evil for evil. He is kind to the evil. Luke 6:35
He overcomes evil with good.
He overcomes your hungry enemy with food.
He overcomes your thirsty enemy with drink.
He overcomes death with life.
He overcomes lies with truth.
He overcomes darkness with light.
This is the vengeance of our God!
THE DAY OF VENGEANCE!
"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
Because the Lord has anointed me
To bring good news to the afflicted;
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to captives
And freedom to prisoners;
To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn," Isa 61:1,2
The day vengeance will comfort all who mourn!
Good News takes vengeance on what afflicts you.
Binding up takes vengeance on that which broke your heart.
Liberty takes vengeance on that which held you.
Freedom takes vengeance on and destroys your prison!
How do you destroy death? Life!
How do you destroy darkness? Light!
How do you destroy a lie? Truth!
How do you cast out fear? Love!
This is the vengeance of our God!
