Anything is possible. Presently I am in the corner of 'wait and see'. If it is of God I expect to see miracles from such an outpouring. Someone should be taking this oil to the cancer clinics, St Judes, etc..
I realize watching a video is NOT being there.

With my hearing, I could not tell how long it took for that much oil to ooze out of the bible, and yes if it is real my doubting will not stop it.

Don't understand how or why but I have known Steve Brown for years. I visited West Metro on July 2. Good service good word.
Steve is a VERY intelegent man that I trust. I heard about this bible , wish I could have seen the entire video but don't want to burn all my data.
Let's wait and see what happens. _________________ Recorded Sermons @ www.pastorwiley.com

I did not listen to the entire video but snippets here and there.
Some things I liked were that the videos from the church are not monetized, the focus from the parts I watched is on God's presence and restoration through Christ (of all areas of life). I don't know the pastor, so I clicked on another video and watched a snippet of a sermon, and he came across as sincerely sharing the word of God. |

I do know the pastor - not in depth personally, but we have met and talked on a few occasions. If I am not mistaken Pastor Steve Brown used to be the Evangelism Director for the North Georgia (that is from memory, I have not fact checked that). I haven't spoken to him in years, but from what I recall he is a credible well-thought individual who would not be party to some ruse.
Beyond that I cannot speak to this. |

Steve Brown is someone that can be trusted. Everyone seems sincere and it didn't look like they were selling oil. I don't know what the think. |

Steve was the ED IN N Georgia. Before that he became the pastor of Milford cog. Milford grew fiom about 150 to about 600. I pastored less than 15 miles from Milford.
I have known him since about 1986. Never known of him being a part of anything weird. His wife's father is well known and well respected in Georgia. _________________ Recorded Sermons @ www.pastorwiley.com

Looks like the ole timer is gonna have to break the ice here an move the discussion forward.
1. I do not know the pastor, Steve Brown.
2. I do not know anything about West Metro COG in Douglasville, GA.
3. I absolutely believe in divine healing.
4. I believe God can and does indeed heal physically, miraculously, divinely and instantaneously in 2017.
The only requirement for such healing is the sovereign will/word of the Lord and it shall come to pass. What the Lord doesn't need and what has never been needed in all cases of his anointing is a gimmick. |

Like washing yourself seven times? The Bible is full of "gimmicks." The Bible is full of strange things. I don't know if this is real. It may be. It may not be. I do know that we will see signs and wonders.

I do get your point, though. We can't put God in a box and say that just because he doesn't NEED to do something a certain way means he WON'T. |

What scripture do you use to teach this position?
According to Jesus, you need faith. I guess OTCP knows best...
Mat 9:28 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “It shall be done to you according to your faith.”
John 8:50 Jesus was telling the man: Don't be afraid; just believe and your daughter will be healed. _________________ I'm not saved because I'm good. I'm saved because He's good!

That was the mid in the eyes. It's ok, for time sake, to combine stuff, isn't it? |

I'll answer your question with a parable... |
bonnie knox |
Quote: | It's ok, for time sake, to combine stuff, isn't it? |
"Once upon a time, a man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, and the thorns grew up and choked him.
And he went on and met the Queen of Sheba, and she gave him a thousand talents of gold and silver, and a hundred changes of raiment. And he got in his chariot and drove furiously. And when he was driving along under a tree his hair got caught in a limb and left him hanging there.
And he hung there many days and many nights, and ravens brought him food to eat and drink. And one night while he was hanging there asleep, his wife, Delilah, came and cut off his hair, and he dropped and fell on the stony ground; and it began to rain and it rained forty days and forty nights, and he hid himself in a cave.
And he went on and met a man who said, 'Come in and take supper with me,' but he said, 'I cannot come, for I have married a wife.' And the man went out into the highways and byways and compelled him to come.
He went on and came to Jerusalem and he saw Queen Jezebel sitting high up in a window. When she saw him she laughed. And he said, 'Throw her down out of there,' and they threw her down. And he said, 'Throw her down again,' and they threw her down seventy times seven times, and of the fragments they then picked up twelve baskets full. Now whose wife will she be in the day of judgment?" |

Brad - be careful my brother...you just opened a door of prerequisite action for God to respond. The next thing you know you will spouting some sort of heresy that an faith is a prerequisite to appropriating grace! |
