Please remember my older son, Ben, who is riding out the storm in Gainesville. Should be weaker by the time it gets there, but a Cat 3 is still plenty powerful. He's in an apartment building, 2nd floor, so he should be OK.

Also please remember my niece Michelle & her family in the Tampa Area. Also riding out the storm in a home. Very concerned for their safety.

Eddie's daughter is also in Orlando.

I think we will all be ok...if we stay off the roads, watch out for falling trees, and watch out for down power lines.

Most homes are made to withstand a lot in Florida.

Tampa Bay and the west coast should be worse - most likely the storm surge will destroy the most stuff. Gainesville, Orlando should only get tropical storm winds - the cat 3 stuff will be on the coast only.

Praying God will watch over all of us in the midst of the storm.
