If you haven't heard, this is a heads up. I am sure most of you that fly have pass ports, it would not effect you.
Beginning Jan. 22, 2018, travelers from nine states will no longer be able to travel with only their driver’s licenses.
Residents of Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Washington will have to use alternate ID forms (passport, military ID, or permanent resident card) to pass TSA security checkpoints—even for domestic travel.
On Thursday, the TSA began placing signage around airport security checkpoints to inform travelers of the new TSA rules going into effect in 2018

Along the same vein I was shocked to learn (the hard way) that an original Birth Certificate is also not accepted as ID for a passport. You MUST have a 'Certified Copy'.
We just renewed our Driver's license in Florida and a Military ID was not considered ID. Three forms if ID were required to renew. It is supposed to eliminate the illegal, what?
I always wonder how a person here illegally gets three accepted forms of ID, because they are definitely issued Driver's license. I am not fussing about the ID, we went home and got it and came back.
Are Illegal or un-documented license stamped some way to ID that fact, does anyone know? Just curious. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!
