Post Thanks for the sympathy! spartanfan
it was crushing for my favorite team to suffer the biggest upset in NCAA history. But then, when you get to the tourney as much as they do it increases your chances of such major upsets. And then to top it off, Michigan (my 2nd favorite basketball team but favorite football school) blew a 14 point lead and lost in the end to Notre Dame. It was just a bad day for a lot of folks but especially if you are from the great state of Michigan! Thursday my bracket was okay as I picked 14 of 16 winners (we know that Yale and Little Rock could not be expected) but Friday was horrible as I won only 8 of 16 and my pick for the Championship Game lost (we know who that is). I'm toast. But the Detroit Tigers are looking good right now!!!!! Golf Cart Mafia Underboss

The games were even better after midnight...that is one advantage for your team to be in the NIT...you can just enjoy.the spectacle.

Post Even without MSU's debacle... spartanfan
Even without MSU's debacle this would be the most unpredictable tourney ever in my opinion. But to think that small schools who didn't even win their rinky dink conference championship are beating some perennial participants from the major basketball conferences is telling us that there are so many quality basketball players out there that there isn't enough room for them all on the rosters of the big schools. I don't think anyone can feel "safe" in this remaining field - which will make it well worth watching! Golf Cart Mafia Underboss
