Can anyone tell me if James Bowers who once taught at Lee still a COG-credentialed minister? |

It is my understanding that the COG and Dr Bowers parted ways a number of years ago. I've heard "rumors" concerning why, but I don't like to talk about something I haven't personally confirmed. So I would say that he is not any longer credentialed with the COG. |

Actually why I was asking. He was one of my instructors at Lee back in the 80s and I'd seen him around but honestly butted heads a lot because of some very liberal theology he was embracing. Recently I was told he was performing same-sex weddings. I have no idea if that is true or not, but that's what I've heard and I was assuming he had parted ways with the COG but had not heard that. |
