I totally agree with this, especially when you read the description and acts of the Great Whore. We have traded and been in bed with all nations. My opinion of course but it adds up

Yes, the USA could be obliterated and not damage any end time prophecy. My curiosity is how will it happen. Will it be financial collapse, natural disaster or political instability or possible grid failure?

I think for any of us to imagine America being taken out of the prophetic picture we tend to ignore a few details.
Where is Canada or Mexico in relation to prophecy?
Where is Central America or the nations of South America?
How about Greenland, Australia, parts of Africa or New Zealand when it comes to prophecy?

I don't think God will destroy all of the world just so the ramifications of the last days can be applied to the original nations of the world.
Some things were 'shut up' or 'put away' when St. John was in the process of recording the vision. Something else has to happen & the whole world will feel the drought of God's blessings.

There are several places where America could be implied in biblical prophecy but nobody really knows for certain ...but God knows.
Based on His own record where He wouldn't destroy Sodom if there were 10 righteous, I don't see Him destroying America or any of the other nations I mentioned with the millions of souls who honor Him.

We're in a current study entitled "In the Last Days" & I was led to this side note regarding a possible absence of America in relation to the end of time.

America in the End Times
America's prophetically significant role in leading up to the end times doesn't necessarily translate into a significant or even notable role during the seven year Tribulation.

In fact, the Bible doesn't even mention the United States or America. Why?

The Bible's silence in regard to America seems to necessitate a notable decrease in its power and influence.

And given the lateness of the hour, it's likely that America's fall from power will be sudden and dramatic.

What could cause such a powerful and influential nation to suddenly fall from its perch?

Here are a few possible reasons for America's absence in end times bible prophecy (Note that these are merely speculations and not predictions):

America is one of the nations.

It is numbered among all other nations and will be judged by the criteria set forth in Jesus' parable of The Separation between the Sheep and the Goats - Matthew 25:31-46.

As far as the Rapture devastating America due to an exodus of Christians, the timing of the Resurrection/Catching Away is Pre-wrath. Forget the Pre-Mid-Post Tribulation template - it just isn't there and Darby pulled a theological rabbit out of the hat.
