I don't stay too up to date on the COG official information. (I am a supporting member and have been most of my life)

But since among my 'too many e-mails' I get notices from "#ourCOG (news@ourcog.org)'. Are the subjects chosen official or used just because they are news.

The last one I received is "Could Trump do this?" It is a YOU TUBE from Perry Stone.

Presently since he is under some cloud of investigation and no longer COG I thought it a poor choice. for a headliner... JMHO Smile

Several places use the COG name, but are not official.

It is certainly meant to appear official. There are a lot of Perry Stone messages featured.

I do know first hand of the ability of someone to steal an ID. I had a friend send me an ad from EBAY for an RV. It was a scam and an actual part of EBAY was used. I didn't bite, it was one of those deals that was too good to be true. i contacted EBAY they said it was NOT theirs.

Anyway to the post, I was just wondering since the site seemed to be slanted.... I do hope it is NOT COG. Shocked

Thanks, I finally got smart and asked at contact COG at HQ. I got this response that I am very happy with:

Ourcog.org was a social media platform nearly a decade ago, but has since closed down. If you are receiving emails, they are not being generated from the Church of God International Offices.
