OTCP, Maybe the Red-Back was walking on the water (L) |
doyle |
In a video of Tim Hill's visit to the flooding in Louisana, there is a brief clip showing a Red-Back Hymnal floating in the water. One viewer timed where that footage is and says it can be seen at 1:10.
Oddly enough, the Hymnal didn't seem to be water damaged. So, maybe it was walking on the water . Over the years, there have been some worship services where we were singing some of the songs in it, and we were so enthused that it felt like we could walk on water.
I also like a lot of the new music, but have fond memories of the times of worship when a song from the Red Back, was a great blessing.

Who knows? |

Was it "Anchored in Jesus" or was it "Drifting Too Far from the Shore"? Was it "deeply stained with sin, sinking to rise no more" or would it float along and "Meet You By the River"? Did the person shooting the video "Throw Out the Lifeline"?
So many questions... |

Right now, that songbook is probably going "Deeper, Deeper." |

Ole Timer, they tried that and when it didn't work, they concluded that Red Back was in the flood on account of it not "Living by Faith."
Of course, the secular media is trying to figure out why Tony Perkins was flooded with what he called a flood of Biblical proportions after having seemingly agreeing with Jonathan Cahn last year that God tries to tell us something when he sends floods. (Jonathan Cahn was predicting Hurricane Joaquin would hit DC for legalizing gay marriage.)

BEST POST of the year so far? Bonnie asks was the floating Red Back "Drifting Too Far From The Shore?" |

When Tim Hill visited the flooding in LA, there was a brief video shot of a Red Back Hymnal floating in the water. Following is Bonnie's response, in my opinion, one of the best posts so far this year:
Bonnie: Was it "Anchored in Jesus" or was it "Drifting Too Far from the Shore"? Was it "deeply stained with sin, sinking to rise no more" or would it float along and "Meet You By the River"? Did the person shooting the video "Throw Out the Lifeline"? So many questions...
