If that is an old quote, I have never heard it. But in reality that is true in church, life and business. (as a general rule).

No on topic, but the same idea: A pastor is known not to visit, or mention the death of brothers or sisters of the average member in his weekly phone-talk. But when a distant relative of the 'top members' of the church, that death is noted and flowers sent. The wife and I were talking a bout that today. So in reality, over all, it is human nature to pay homage to 'money or power'. That is true in most walks of life. Not fair, but true.

It might be well to check our 'ownselves' in that respect. Shocked

I don't think I want to be in the church of God anymore. I don't trust the integrity of the organization. More than just this has pushed me over the edge. Some I can't talk about because of ethical and legal issues, but just know my loyalty to this organization has been shaken to the core. I know there are good people in this, but a little yeast affects the whole batch of dough.

If you can't lay out any facts - you ought not to post anything.

You might be wrong in your insinuations.
