The fact is that we will never know what all goes into the EC making the decisions they make with the knowledge they have. I am certain that even though the state council did not get the new AB they wanted, they will work with the new AB.

I have reached out to my friends in Indiana and they have stated all they want is what God wants for Indiana. Furthermore the men in Indiana i know have stated there was a process involved in this matter, and the solemn assembly was for much more than an overseer it was all for a move of God in the state of Indiana.

I have been told the same, and as stated in my original post I did not want this to be a heated debate. My friends in Indiana and a couple on the state council have stated they will work with the new overseer and pray the state will move forward. They made their recommendation known and it did not happen. There were no secret meetings, no hate mail, and no reveling up the state for any man, they just want a move of God.

I have been corrected on a couple of my prior statements, and apologize to the men in Indiana. God Bless them!!!!

You said in your original post, "These feelings were expressed to the EC and their feelings were obviously ignored. Not wanting to get into a debate, just curious how a state council has their voice muffled by the EC so that others can be moved. Politics at its best I guess."

You need to apologize to the Executive Committee for this direct attack on them. This was just plain wrong and disrespectful! I may not always agree with every decision of those over me in the Lord, but I sure won't go off on them like this especially in a public way. You may have not meant it that way but it sure comes across like it.

Post The Fault and the Conclusion mytwocents
The fault in this matter is that the EC asked the recommendation of the Council but then did not act on the recommendation. THe EC had the authority to make the appointment without seeking a recommendation; asking gives the impression that their request will be heard.
This time it was ignored.

The Conclusion: with all the other appointments that took place at the same time this one did, it would guve the appearance that Indianas request was ignored but Alabamas was not. As they say, when in doubt, follow the money.

Been watching your posts and it seems that you are very high to the top of the totem pole. It takes something from the top for you to make a comment. You seem to always be supporting the man or men at the top. Just saying. Keep on posting.

I'm nowhere near the top of the totem pole, I'm not even the stump. Just wish people would ignore the flesh and worrying about things out of their control. I will keep posting.

Never intended to disrespect the EC, just had a question. I do apologize for any offense the EC might have taken over my post. Hopefully this will suffice for you.

So if you prayed and Felt like God was sending you to a specific church, and the overseer listened to you and decided to send someone else there you wouldn't say anything about it publicly? Or if your church decided they wanted a particular pastor in the coming weeks and the overseer bypassed what the church wanted you would think they shouldn't publicly voice their concern?

Post Great choice DrDuck
I don't have any idea who the wanted, but they could not possibly get a better State Administrator than David Gosnell. David Gosnell is a first class Christian gentleman and will make them the best kind of Overseer they could ever hope, pray or ask for. Acts-celerater

Word is that the Indiana State council voted and asked for one person to be their new overseer and the one they are being sent is not the one they have requested. I have been informed from men in that state that not only was there fervent prayer over this, but also a solemn assembly and all ten men testified this was the will of God for their state and the majority of the council not knowing the man they knew was the man for their state. These feelings were expressed to the EC and their feelings were obviously ignored. Not wanting to get into a debate, just curious how a state council has their voice muffled by the EC so that others can be moved. Politics at its best I guess.
