 Mitch Maloney asks to not be nominated |

Thanks to live stream - I was able to listen to his heart.
I loved his interpretation of instructions to Timothy - "ruling" his home well.
He is a man among men.
Mark Williams response was also touching.
Glad to be associated with these types of men.

What an incredible human moment, and an awesome God moment. I found myself weeping and praying for him and his family. I don't know him, but I know that heart, its a heart of flesh and one in Godly submission. |

that he did NOT say that he did desire a position.
Clearly, when he left North Cleveland, that was the apparent intent: to move into another phase of ministry, etc.
He declined the nomination for the MISSIONS position precisely because he felt it would keep him from home often, etc.
I think he would be delighted to serve in another way--state overseer? national director here or there?--but not if it involves massive travel. |

I am pretty sure it happened sometime on Wednesday, perhaps that afternoon. I got the impression from a Twitter comment that he has an autistic child, but I'm not sure of that. It certainly touched a lot of folks' hearts.
