 Looking for a church in El Paso, Texas |

My son is now stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas. I told him I'd check and see if there was a Church of God congregation near him. I pastor in NM, which is in the same administrative region as El Paso. I have gotten to know several of our El Paso CoG pastors.
Dr. Kofi, originally from Ghana, is a highly intelligent brother, who has a very humble, kind and gentle spirit about him. I don’t know a whole lot about his church, but I have listened to him teach/preach on YouTube before, and I can say that he is definitely worth listening to. I believe he would be a good pastor to sit under. |

The Obandos, who originally immigrated from Columbia and received their US citizenship several years ago, are some of the sweetest and kindest people you will ever meet. They are a very musically talented family, and their worship team has ministered in our youth camps and camp meetings before. Their church is bilingual (Spanish/English), and their music is contemporary and quite good. |

Bro. Melendez is retired military, very sharp, personable, quite intelligent, and quite the snappy dresser. He and his lovely wife lead one of our strongest churches in the region. Their church has excellent music, and Bro. Jose is an excellent speaker. Their church building, which I have been to before for state events, appears to be a former department store of some kind, and is *very* nicely decorated. They obviously are doing a lot of things right, judging by their numbers.
