 Special Attention to all who are called to preach |

Doyle onced called me a "seasoned preacher". That has been more than 10 years ago. So that would make me more of a "seasoned preacher" today.
With that said I have a word for all younger preachers.
"Preach the Word in Love". Never compromise the Word of God. It will stand the test of time.
You don't have to be hard, simply love His people.

From the pew, that sounds like good advice! I remember hearing my dad, one of the pioneer preachers telling another pastor at Camp Meeting concerning a young evangelist, "If that guy doesn't help you , he sure will not hurt your church."

I like it when you quote your dad, it reminds me of the preachers I would hear as a young kid.
