Flying takes the whole day

Post Flying takes the whole day Link
Have any of you found that if you fly somewhere, even for a two hour flight, it pretty much takes up the whole day. That's especially true if it's international, because you have to be at the airport an hour early and there is that extra immigration line on both ends.

I haven't done an international flight in years. But 9-11 changed our flying lives forever. I notice when we fly our grand kids out from UTAH, the wait is horrendous. I have avoided flying as much as possible.

I can imagine that international flights would Kill a day, easily. Sad
