This description is pretty accurate, this is a GIANT pivot, I think in the eyes of HIS Word they are condoning SIN!

We all know that as COG (and other fundamental organizations) members; using the strong dress codes and guidelines of our past, we have 'LEARNED' much and 'pivoted' many times. I am NOT SAYING we have condoned or accepted SIN, but we have sure done a lot of pivots. For the females:
Hair, pants, makeup, jewelry, dress, stockings (hose, lol) etc.
For the general church: Investing in stocks and bonds, movies, shorts, mixed bathing, coffee, soft drinks, TV and a few more.

Please do not get me wrong, I AM NOT SAYING WE ARE ACCEPTING SIN But we do condone and accept change. If we are not careful we can fall into the same trap this organization has, after all we are all God's children.
This is a great country, we still have praying Christians who love our Lord and are looking for his return. Cool

Pivoting

The history of evangelicals iin the USA shows they have pivoted many times as Cojack pointed out. The government must have some rules to keep all kinds of religious groups from doing public service. Government is not just aiming at Christians. Any other religious groups doing public service must abide by the same rules.

If religious groups don't like these rules they must abstain from all contacts with the world and raise their own money and use it with no strings attached.
Most churches I know are not very successful at raising their own money for worldly good. If they do raise money most of it goes overseas to very needy projects.
