Yes. I also know the types of groups that co-opt it as violent rhetoric today.
If you want to reference the quote in a discussion of Jefferson, the Revolution, the cost of liberty, tyranny, or any of a million other things, that's fine. If you want to reference the quote in the context of a post about people "coming after" public officials, you're going to get banned. |
Like a lot of other people, I don't come here much anymore. When I was reading the above, it struck me that this site has became much like the MSM who only allows to be said what pleases them or they agree with. I'm not posting this against one person or administrator, this isn't an attack on anyone, it is just something that reads to me like what the media is putting out today. |

Just to be clear -- you're suggesting that me saying it's over the line to talk about people "coming after" public officials and watering the ground with their blood -- is like the liberal MSM not wanting people to express opinions they don't personally like.
Do I have that right? |
