Several commentaries I have studied and teaching I have heard state that the Jewish people sang Psalm 113-114 before the Passover meal and Psalm 115-118 after it. I have 3 questions about this tradition.
1. Am I correct in assuming that Jesus sang these Psalms with the disciples when celebrating the Passover?
2. Did the Jewish people carry on this Passover tradition of singing these 6 Psalms at the Passover years after Jesus was crucified?
3. Do the Jewish people still sing these 6 Psalms when celebrating the Passover now?
I appreciate help with these questions and any correction if there are other lines of thought about my original assumption.
