How does your Father take vengeance on and overcome evil?
Not with more evil...but with good.
How do you destroy a lie? With Truth.
How do you destroy hate? With love.
How do you destroy darkness? With light.
Allow your Father to destroy and take vengeance on the lies, hatred and darkness in your world by loving, shining and sharing the Truth of Jesus through you!
The cross was God taking vengeance on, judging, condemning, destroying and overcoming everything that separated you from Him.
Isa. 61:2 To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
He took vengeance on everything that brought you discomfort and mourning!
Rom. 12:19 Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 “But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
