I watched the interview. I saw no skirting. What I did see a left wing reporter playing the race card and Trump refusing to take the bait. Nothing strange or surprising here.
Furthermore, David Duke has not been in the KKK for literally decades and renounced white supremacy long ago. He served honorably in the Louisiana State Legislature and was backed by Civil Rights icon James Meredith.
I do not agree with Duke's stand on the Israel/Palestinian problem. But he is dead on concerning the plot by the world's leftists to destroy Europe and to disenfranchise whites in America. The recent events in Europe have vindicated him.
Harry Truman and Robert Byrd were also in the KKK. Had Duke become a leftist like them upon leaving the Klan, his praises would be being sung far and near. But since he dares to speak the truth on the NWO conspiracy, he will forever have his racist past drug up.

I watched it as well.
I'm embarrassed by Christians who fall for the race card and continually feel the need to validate false claims of racism.

David Duke has endorsed every non democrat running for president for as long as I can remember.
And
Trump is old enough to be getting senile.
So, I give him a pass.
It didn't seem to stop Jeff Sessions from endorsing Trump.
Me neither.

Yeah, that is what he said. He said he didn't know him. Sounded straight forward to me.
DO I know DAvid Duke? NO. I remember the name, but I do not know David Duke. Was he a bad guy? Is he a good guy now? According to which preacher you ask I guess.
He isn't always smart, but this time evading the answer is pretty smart. I think it was a loaded question and he figured it was. If you do not know what is coming next, legally and logically, if you do not know the answer wanted (expected) you sluff it. it is smart not to answer.
