The humorous part is where people who have posted endless times that they're not voting for Trump but they make it their personal agenda to take a swipe at him at every turn!
Kinda sounds like a closet Hillary supporter? _________________ "Empty nest syndrome is for the birds!"

I'm not voting for Hillary.
You remind me of brotherjames. He doesn't like what I have to say, so he tries to insinuate that I'm a doubter. You don't like what I have to say, so you try to insinuate that I'm a closet Hillary fan. It just makes you sound desperate.
I would have voted for any of the other Republican candidates if they had been the nominee.
I voted for Romney; I voted for McCain.
I've never voted for a Democrat for President. |

Well first of all bonnie I phrased it as a question rather than a statement so it actually makes you appear desperate for responding to the question.
Here is a question you can answer though: If you're not voting for Trump why do you feel the need to respond negatively to the post's that include him in the topic?

I don't need to; I want to. I'm a little disgusted about how evangelicals have sold their souls.
I'm okay with folks who say they don't find Trump palatable, but they are holding their nose while voting for him in order to keep Hillary out. Vote your conscience.
But I can't get over people acting like Trump is the savior of the religious right when he is morally bankrupt. I can't get over people who were so sanctimonious about character mattering when Bill Clinton was in office, who are now overlooking Trump's character.
I can't get over people such as my own pastor repeating Franklin Graham's talking points from a rally in Raleigh a couple of weeks ago trying to lay a guilt trip on people who can't in good conscience vote for either major party candidate.
I'm not out to sway anyone to vote a certain way, but if I want to point out something about a post (on a board that is purportedly a vehicle to uplift the body of Christ) that I think is not forthright or honest or fair, I just might do that. |

So what I think you mean is you have an opinion & in your own way of thinking there are only absolutes?
If this election were only about morality & character I don't think we would be electing anybody unless Billy Graham were capable of running.
I too have all of Franklin G. statements & I have yet to print them & release them to my church members, I've enjoyed the debates here at our church but we live in the most liberal part of America so it's different here.
I'm posting the link to an article recently printed about the change of heart that David Green (owner of Hobby Lobby) had regarding Trump. It's a rather short read but very concise in that this particular election is going to be different than all the others.

No, I don't think in absolutes. I said I voted for Romney and McCain.
Just stop trying to make out that people who plan to vote for neither Trump or Hillary are "closet Hillary supporters." |

Bonnie I sorta call them as I see them. If somebody is constantly on the attack against the only candidate that can keep Hillary out then that makes them a closet supporter.
You may not be voting for her but you're not casting a vote for a candidate that has a chance to beat her.
Sure there are several candidates running for POTUS but only 1 of the tope 2 will be elected.
When Christians say they're not voting for the only guy who will appoint conservative judges, take a run at Roe-v-Wade, rebuild our military & put some teeth back into our immigration program, they're supporting the other candidate with the non-vote ...plain & simple!
For what it's woth, I really don't like Trump cause he does come across whacky but he tells the people that he will nominate conservative judges & I believe him. You might want to take the chance that America won't be saddled with a liberal court by the time Hillary gets through but she will get her way no matter what. I don't like those odds.
She said religious people would have to eventually change their ways & right now it looks like a lot of Christians are agreeing with her by not fighting against her.
You have one bullet & the viper is about to bite you with deadly venom ...it does no good to shoot the tree when the viper can't feel the effect of the bullet.
Your ballet is the bullet & she is the viper ...all other candidates other than Trump are the trees.
BTW, he is not the savior of America so that analogy is rather sacrilegious.
Did you open the link I sent you? Yes or No?

That doesn't make me a closet supporter. A closet supporter would be someone who actually casts a vote for her, but doesn't want to admit it. |
