You Reap What You Sow |
FG Minister |
It's Biblical. Right? You reap what you sow. And boy are the Republican's reaping it. They said repeatedly out loud for eight years, "we hope Obama fails." They refused to even have hearings with Merrick Garland, Obama's Supreme Court pick. They could have had hearing after hearing and drug it out until January 21 - but they were stupid and simply refused to meet. Then it was THE DONALD who said for three years "Obama is not a legitimate president."
Now the chickens have come home to roost. Trump can't get a cabinet approved. People are saying he isn't a legitimate president. And his SC pick will face everything the Democrats can throw at him until he looks like the third cousin of the Anti-Christ. And the Republicans are crying foul - "give Trump a chance; just give his picks a fair hearing." Sorry guys - you reap what you sow. There are smart ways to be in opposition and there are dumb ways, and you guys have been foolish.
BTW - I am a staunch Republican so hold your attacks. I just wish the Republicans in Washington had two brain cells to rub together. |

My thoughts exactly. Other than a few professed opinions, they are just like the democrats. |

Methinks FG, that you are talking politics. To start with the SC appointment is politics, my understanding that was done before by both parties.
Many presidents have had trouble getting a cabinet seated.
I do not agree with you that for 8 years it was hoped Obama would fail. Most, including me, did not like his policies, and there was no wiggle room allowed. Now that is just my opinion.
I do agree the party NOT IN POWER has always cried, you should cooperate. But FG I will tell you one thing you did not see when Obama went in twice. You did not see riots, burning, looting and cursing Hollywood types. Many of us felt as strongly as today's rioters, but had enough sense to wait it out.
I think many of us who were supporters by default, are saying if he weathers the rocks and bombs of the first two months without being impeached he might just do well as a president.
In answer to the original post. POLITICS AS USUAL (Just a lot louder) _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!
