Post Samson and the Jawbone...unclean? Aaron Scott
I've heard it preached that touching the dead lion messed up part of Samson's Nazarite vows.

It occurred to me that the jawbone of an ass would too, right?

Your thoughts on the whole matter? Going to be speaking on it ("Lord, Why Did You Let My Donkey Die?") and need some assistance.

Off the top of my head, I'm thinking he could not touch a dead person. A dead animal might have been allowed. [Insert Acts Pun Here]

Post Samson was not unclean maqqebet
when he touched the dead animals.

The Nazarite Law (Numbers 6:1f) prescribes no contact with a dead "person" including family.

Yet, with this mind, how about those he killed. My thoughts are if he was directed/anointed by the Holy Spirit, then not sullied.

He would not have broken the Nazarite law, but would he have been "unclean" according to Leviticus 11:8 in which he is not to touch the carcase of an unclean animal?

Was he vegan?
If he liked the legbone of a Brontosaurus for Thanksgiving - he would have touched a lot of dead animals in his time - as have I.

Could only be one thing, Aaron. The owner of the donkey did not have enough faith. If he had manifested the right level of faith, the donkey would not have died.

Post OTCP...nope Aaron Scott
Nope, God slew the donkey because the donkey kept going on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on--incessantly!--about WOF teachings and unaccredited degrees. Hon. Dr. in Acts-celeratology
