Is this a strong statement against white evangelicalism? Do we no longer recognize right and wrong? (yes, yes, yes, Hillary is worse, I agree, BUT, Trump is not a moral person by any standard) |

I think it speaks to some extent of the decline of the church in America but it must also speak of peoples ability to rationalize a vote. |

Maybe they focused on the 'strong' part. His character is 'strong' in a way. The question doesn't specify whether the 'moral character' is good moral character or bad moral character.
The question isn't that bad. I'm being a bit too picky, but they could have broken this down a bit more, if they didn't already.
We also have to realize that a lot of people who went to a church service once, repeated a praye, were declared Christians 'ex cathedra' style by the preacher for doing so, and never went back, could be labeled 'evangelical.' _________________ Link |

Or maybe they were thinking that he claims to be pro-life, etc.. Perhaps it is a statement of contrasts. |
