What Happened to Ron Desantis? |
FG Minister |
I believe at this point in his career, he is more of a state guy than a federal guy. He is great at the state level, but maybe not ready for primetime on a national/international stage. His numbers are dropping like a stone because Trump has beat him to a pulp. I personally hope Trump loses and loses big in the primaries. Of course, here is the headline the day after he loses each primary "Trump says he won! Election stolen." I think Desantis has been so wounded by the egocentric Trump, he may never recover in time for the 2028 election.
Right now, Nikki Haley has my support. She's been a state governor with great success and a UN Ambassador. She's ready as an executive and as a national/international president. The other thing I like about her is that she is tough and articulate! |

Outstanding candidate if he ran 96 to 12. However, today, he is a limp fish. He is great for Florida. Great support governor. |

I love the guy as my governor but he is not presidential material in my opinion. I was really disappointed when he announced his candidacy because there is no way he can get past the Trump machine. Looks like once again I’ll be choosing the least objectionable candidate. _________________ “Hell will be filled with people that didn’t cuss, didn’t drink, and may even have been baptized. Why? I think he simply got overwhelmed by the Trump machine.
Trump is an interesting figure. Will easily win the nomination. Will easily lose the election. _________________ Eddie Wiggins |

I don't think he's cut-throat enough to get the nomination. I like him but he's a case of "nice guys finish last". I hope I'm wrong. |
