There may be some on Acts that remembers my older brother, Jerry Wiley.
Jerry pastored Dallas N. Ga. CoG for almost 20 years. He followed Sammy Cutshall, Bryans dad to Dallas.
Jerry preached many revivals before during and after Dallas.
Jerry went to heaven in 2004. He had a bad heart. Even had a heart transplant but died 3 years after the transplant.
Jerry was born on this day 1948. He would have been 70.
Sure do miss my big (well at least older) brother.

Yes, we remember them. Birthdays are a 'SMILE' time, when we remember the GOOD times. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!

Although it would be very hard losing a brother I am glad you have great memories of a close relationship with him and his excellent devotion to God's work. |

I have found in writing fiction, one of my problems has been names. I created a central character in my novels. I picked two first names,, Jerry and Wiley, Jerry Wiley. Saying to my self, I like that. It is cool and very unique, I thought.' Until one day I received an email from an Acts contributor asking where I got the name? He asked because he had a brother by the same name.
I was very surprised, to say the least. The more I learned about the real Jerry Wiley I realized I had chosen wisely, the real Jerry Wiley was also a hero.
I just wanted to say that to JLarry, who has become a friend, although distant. Iwish I had known the REAL Jerry Wiley. _________________ Some facts but mostly just my opinion!
