 Pastor Saeed was a Wife Abuser? |

I just seen a link on Charisma where Pastor Saeed, who has been in a Iranian prison for several years, was released. His wife, who has been crusading all over the country seeking prayer for his release, said he was abusive to her and is now praying for their healing.
Glad the ole boy is outta that Iranian jail.

Part of the article reported that she said he was abusive through Skype. How does that work? Did he yell at her or call her names?

I was raised COG in America. My parents were from Georgia, that is my heritage.
This guy is Iranian by heritage, Christian by choice. WE may not understand him, he may consider his position as 'KING of the HOUSE and she something OWNED. That is the heritage.
Not justifying the man, I think his behavior is beyond offensive if he is guilty. BUT probably you know someone who has a different heritage, they might even say two Corinthians. 
But it is possible folks have been boon-swaggled by the thought of a Christian Pastor being held captive. Could be sorta like 'SUBWAY' and their impromptu spokesman.

True, they won't see the truth of the situation though, a Christian wife extending grace and redemption while simultaneously holding him accountable. Something you would never see otherwise. |

I'm not assuming they're not, but there's also no reason to assume they are. The article doesn't include any statements from him or any answer (either accepting or rejecting) the allegations.
Maybe chill out a little until there's more information available. |

That's a good point. One witness seems right until his neighbor testifies.
If she said he was abusive on Skype, she may use the word rather loosely.
