I know some of you guys are in the projected path of the hurricane. We also have a son in the lower end of the Hurricane in Port Richey. His home is very vulnerable since he is only 3 feet above sea level and 200 ft from the Gulf's edge. So far at 11PM he was still good but the tide was already at the top of the sea wall.

I think Aaron, maybe JLarry, NBF for some are in harms way. You have our prayers for you and your family and churches. We are at Flagler BEach. Our schedule called for us to head North, but it looks like Hermine will block our path so we are headed back to Orlando until after Labor Day.

That is one blessing with a home having wheels and an engine. Smile

But our prayers are for the folks who will feel the brunt of this Big One. Idea

We are fine. Pecan tree limb down in my yard as well as neighbor to the right and left of me. We live in the country.

Many without electricity in our area. Fortunately we have power.

Much needed rain, cannot wait to see the rain gauge.

There is a large cotton field in front of my house and large peanut field behind my house. The cotton and peanuts are smiling. Harvest time in a few weeks.

We're getting the good part. It is skirting us to the south and we're getting a nice breeze. Some of South Georgia has been in a drought so, other than wind damage, it should help them. Stay safe, folks!! Acts-pert Poster

We are on our way South to Orlando. WE once headed North to avoid a hurricane, it chased us into Georgia and hit us as a TS. This time we will miss it, we hope. Cool

Thanks man.

Some 50 mph gusts but only sustained winds of 30 or less at 3 AM this morning in Jacksonville. No damage in our area.

Aaron is 40 miles closer - so interested to know if everything is ok his way.

I keep hearing "Hermine" in place of "Jolene" in Dolly's song.
"Hermine, Hermine, Hermine, HERMI-I-I-NE, I'm begging you, please don't take my man..."
