Post Something positive about Trump UncleJD
I have to say that Trump's visit to Louisiana was classy. IF he could do this kind of thing for the next 80 days, he may indeed have a shot. Golf Cart Mafia Consigliere

I'm sure it wasn't a political move at all. Acts-pert Poster

Sure, and a good one, every move they make is. He has miles to go to win me over, but right now I'm honestly just hoping he doesn't get beat so badly that he pulls the entire thing down with him. If he can get close then maybe congress can hold together.

As for political motivation, you do remember Katrina of course, that was the biggest political hack-fest ever. Do we see any celebs attacking Obama for "hating the black people", or governors blasting him for not showing up? Same for Hillary? Where has she been? She'll show up tomorrow a day late and dollar short as usual and get all of the credit I'm sure, but there are SOME smart people paying attention.

I give him credit for being able to turn on a dime and get down there and show some leadership. Hillary will be along soon to show her followship

Again, miles to go and I don't expect it to continue, but it could.

For the most part, politicians and other entertainers looking for publicity are just in the way of the responders. But, it's all about them so it doesn't matter. Acts-pert Poster

I agree, and you know my angst with Trump is well documented. But I think someone who aspires the highest office in the land should show the ability to sympathize and give an idea how he would lead in the situation.

Again, this will probably all be forgotten in 3 days with the next crazy misstep, but you never know, someone in his campaign may have gotten through to him.
